Food 101 is a great casual dining place in Sandy Springs/ Dunwoody. Off Roswell Rd, they sit in a shopping center close with other great lunch eats for local businesses.
I love places like this because they have a themed concept and you can truly see it in all aspects of the establishment.

Cafe Elan @ Chateau Elan is casual fine dining at such a heavenly resort and winery. Located in the winery building, Cafe Elan shares the building with the winery restaurant and Irish pub attached.
The food is immaculate. From the bread and salad to the tender steaks and decedent creme brulee, the experience was heaven prancing on my taste buds. I truly felt like royalty during my weekend stay at the resort and the dinner at Cafe Elan made it that much better. I had the 16 oz Cowgirl Ribeye cooked medium. It was seared to perfection and had the right about of marbling. The mixed green salad was tossed in a white wine vinaigrette with goat cheese, homemade croutons, grape tomatoes and sweet onions.
Top Flr has a lounge feel to it. It is a 2 story restaurant and bar in Midtown that is open late and has great deals on some awesome food. The environment is very vibrant and the loud music is more so for those wanting to go to dinner somewhere fun and live.
Everything I've had has been fairly good at Top Flr. Particularly the pork belly appetizer, which I made into a dinner meal. It was very tender and the fat nearly melted in my mouth. The pork belly is slow roasted for hours and them baked to get a bit of the crispiness on the fat. The meat sits on top of a bed of sauteed kale, peppers and shallots. It was a perfect portion for me and the flavor was simple and perfect, seasoned with sea salt and peppercorn.
Siam Thai is the only Thai restaurant in downtown Decatur and they have every right to be. The restaurant is a small and quaint establishment off Sycamore St. facing the downtown courtyard. There are about 10-15 tables in the restaurant and the ambiance is a happy medium between casual and evening dining.

Bhojanic started as a catering service over a decade ago and has grown to open up the initial location in Decatur and their second location in Buckhead Spring of 2013. The atmosphere is casual and inviting and has a 'green' type of environment with re-purposed wood and burlap textures in various places of the restaurant. The music is soft and subtle and the staff is super attentive and friendly. Everyone knows the businesses history so the culture among the staff carries its own sense of pride.
The Classy Critic's mission is to foster a diverse community of food lovers to appreciate the art and the science of food. It serves as an avenue for freedom of expression done professionally and positively.
