Coconut oil is used extensively in tropical countries especially India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines etc., which have a good production of coconut oil. Oyster Fest February
Oysterfest is hosted by Steamhouse Lounge in Midtown Atlanta where they block off a portion of 11th St. and W Peachtree for the masses of people enjoying oysters, alcohol and live music. This year (2014) was a 2 day event, February 22nd and 23rd, to celebrate Oysterfest’s 27th anniversary and was a large success for the restaurant, sponsors and charity (Embraced.org) it benefits.
Hammock’s Trading Company is off of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs and is a seafood gem! I've passed it several times, but never was drawn into the place until I saw it featured on an episode of Atlanta Eats. Hammock’s tag line is “Eat. Drink. Hangout”, and that is exactly what you do there. Its a casual atmosphere that has a plethora of seafood options. Hammocks prides itself in being a blend of southern coastal seafood and Baja California cuisine.

Not many of the Vietnamese or Southeast Asian demographic are concentrated in that area since most are now in Gwinnett County or in the Buford area. Nevertheless, I was open to trying their cuisine since it was recommended to me by a close friend.
